VIRGIN ATLANTIC
Produce editorial copy for the national press to promote the Business
Class Services on Virgin Atlantic. Arrange fact finding mission to South
Africa for the appointment of local marketing team. Design launch event
in London for the start of the Johannesburg route in October 96. Arrange
ongoing media interest. Redesign and produce THE GLOBE, the internal monthly
newsletter for Virgin's 5,000 staff around the world.
LONDON UNDERGROUND
Promote the sale of 10,000 redundant London Underground signs. This was
the first time that London Underground had ever held an auction sale of
its signs in 70 years. We designed a running story which generated coverage
in countries around the world. Coverage included Time Magazine, CNN, NBC
etc in the USA and TV networks in Japan, Australia, and across Europe.
In the UK there were front page stories and pictures in the Guardian and
Independent, significant cover in the FT, Evening Standard, Times, Telegraph,
Today, Mail, Express and Mirror, as well as wide regional coverage, and
all the London radio stations.
THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION
Promote the core values of Scouting to maintain the 700,000 membership,
attract new members, and win support from opinion formers. Design and
execute an environmental initiative (Green Charter for Youth) launched
with the support of all religious denominations in Britain by the Archbishop
of Canterbury at Lambeth Palace. Creative and ongoing media campaign.
Work closely with Chief Scout and the Chief Executive Officer, on a public
affairs programme. Produce annual reports.
SHERLOCK HOLMES
FESTIVAL
Create a festival for the town of Crowborough, East Sussex, based on the
fact that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle lived in the town for 23 years of his
life. Design initiative; sell it to the three local authorities; find
sponsors (15 in all); generate media exposure - local, regional, national
& international press and broadcast - worth in excess of £300,000; attract
visitors from as far afield as Germany, Japan and the USA.
ROYAL MARSDEN
CANCER APPEAL
Promote the fund raising work of Britain's leading cancer research hospital.
A particular highlight was the auction of a selection of valuable paintings
including one specially commissioned of HRH The Princess of Wales. National
coverage.

- Auction House
Promote the Classic Car Department internationally by attracting both
sellers and buyers. Specific support for sales in Britain and Monaco.
Promote the sale of the Bugatti Royale in 1987 for the then world record
price of £5.5 million. National and international media response.
NSPCC - National
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children
Design and implement a nine month campaign to support and promote One
Minute's Noise Week to encourage adults to listen to children. Create
a link with two national 'noise making' organisations the Fire Brigades
and the Army. Commission a pop song - 'Make A Noise!'; source 100,000
noise making badges from China. Create a running media story, building
interest that peaks during the week of One Minutes Noise. Extensive press
and media coverage.
